Faith Baptist Church began in March 2004 under the direction of Pastor Steve Maxie. Beginning in the Greenwood Senior Citizens Center, Faith quickly outgrew that location and was led to our current location at 1640 Fry Road. Faith Baptist Church was founded as, and remains to be, an independent church that is distinctively Baptist in doctrine. We hold to the core Bible doctrines of salvation by grace alone, separation from sin and the world, and the eternal security of the believer. All preaching, teaching, and reading is only from the King James Version of the Bible, for we believe that this is God’s preserved Word for English speaking people. Faith Baptist Church is a friendly family of believers who desire to reach the lost for Christ and to provide a church home where Christians are built up in Christ and established in the faith (Colossians 2:7).
Pastor Steve Maxie went home to be with His Savior on Wednesday November 14, 2018. Faith was greatly blessed of the Lord for the service and work of Pastor Maxie, and continues to move forward in service to our great God. In September of 2020 the Lord led Faith Baptist Church to call Pastor Jonathan Dellinger as our new pastor. As Pastor Dellinger and his wife Hannah continue to serve the Lord at Faith Baptist Church we look to the years ahead with great anticipation of what the Lord can accomplish in and through this church.

We are a Bible-preaching, Bible-teaching, and Bible-practicing church that seeks to see the sinner saved, the saint equipped, and our faith strengthened.
