Staff

Pastor Jonathan Dellinger was born in New Castle, Indiana in 1994. There he had the great blessing of being raised in a Christian home by parents who loved the Lord and served faithfully in their church. It was a joy to grow up serving with his parents, grandparents, sister, and cousins. While attending Temple Baptist Church in New Castle, Jonathan accepted Christ as his personal Savior as a young boy.

Pastor Dellinger surrendered to the Lord’s will as a young teenager but it was not until his senior year of high school that the Lord confirmed his calling to serve in full-time Gospel ministry. After graduating high school he attended Bible College and earned a degree in Pastoral Studies. During the summers of his college years, Jonathan had the privilege to be involved in practical ministry internships. It was during a 2014 internship that he first met Pastor Giordano, and they remained in close contact.

Upon graduation, Bro. Jonathan became the youth director of a small church in Indiana. It was during this time that he met his wife, Hannah Pitman. Ms. Hannah was raised in a pastor’s home and accepted Christ as her Savior when she was seven years old. Ms. Hannah graduated valedictorian of the class of 2016 from Providence Baptist College with a degree in elementary education. When she met Jonathan, she was teaching at Grace Baptist Christian School in Plymouth, Indiana. Six months after their relationship began, Jonathan and Hannah were happily engaged.

Throughout this time, Pastor Giordano and Bro. Jonathan had been prayerfully considering the possibility of Bro. Jonathan serving at Trinity Baptist Church. When the Lord opened the door, Bro. Jonathan moved to Texas and joined the staff in January, 2018. In July of that year, Jonathan and Hannah were married and began to serve the Lord together at Trinity Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas.

After much prayer, in 2020, Pastor Dellinger and Pastor Giordano believed the Lord was moving Bro. Jonathan from a staff position to a pastorate. In July of 2020 the Dellingers came to visit Faith Baptist Church in view of a call. On July 26, 2020 Faith Baptist Church unanimously voted to call Bro. Jonathan as their next pastor. Having made His will clear to the congregation of Faith Baptist Church and the Dellingers, on September 20, 2020, Bro. Jonathan Dellinger became pastor of Faith Baptist Church. After coming to Faith Baptist Church the Lord has blessed Pastor and Ms. Hannah with two children, their son Joab and daughter Joanna. As our pastor, Brother Dellinger has led Faith Baptist Church to be unapologetically biblical in faith and practice. Since Pastor Dellinger’s coming we have been blessed to see spiritual and numerical growth and we look forward to the Lord’s continued blessings on Faith Baptist Church. Our Pastor loves the Lord, His Word, and His church, and he would love to see you in one of our services soon!
